In jest of all the botched jobs on other magazine covers, they decided to release this cover for the Comedy Issue with the best/worst issues! How many can you spot?
Gene Bresler the founder of Catchlight (http://www.catchlightdigital.com/), a retouching studio/house located in Brooklyn, NYC. Putting it simply, he knows his shit. This podcast on the platform, “The Photo Banter” by Alex Gagne, goes into Gene’s beginnings, what it’s like being a great retoucher (and what makes it different from just having a strong skillset), making serious money, and work with high end brands.
Tonight we had a retouching challenge. Tina Eisen was visiting Bella Kotak and myself and we decided to have a retouching challenge on a whim. Since each of us have our own styles, we figured to see what would happen if we each worked on the same image! We may have left a few things here and there but ultimately our styles came through.
