Ever since I hosted my first ever retouching retreat years ago, I was inspired to keep doing many varieties of them, whether they were photoshoot focused, retouching focused, or simply vacationing with creatives and talking about things beyond the obvious in our creative lives. I put them on either by myself or with co-hosts in different parts of the world. We’ve gone everywhere from Portland, Austin, London, Cape Town, Iceland, Bali, and more.

What is a Creative Retreat? 

Imagine a beautiful place somewhere around the world for a hand-picked group of like minded creatives to share a space. A place to get away, get inspired, overcome some personal hurdles or just unwind with people who “get it”.

The retreats are usually a mix of creativity, growth, education, inspiration, and relaxation.

We plan shoots, got work done, educated each other, explored and planned things to see and do, and bond so closely as lifelong friends over a period of time. We all bring something unique to the table, so this is not just a getaway, but an opportunity to advance ourselves as creatives as well.
