Retouching Retreat - New Years Eve Edition

Bring in the New Years with your new creative family!

The season can be rough for many who might not be celebrating it doing anything special, so I figured I would take initiative and make a space for it!

I can’t believe this is our third event! With out last one being in Portland, it was just obvious we had to keep on going. After posting about our first retouching retreat and how it went (see the photos and details here), we had an overwhelming response to do another one! In the link you can also submit locations for future retreats. 

So our third Retouching Retreat will be in Austin, from December 28th to January 2nd!

And Yes… we will be celebrating New Years Eve in style.

What is a Retouching Retreat? It's not just retouching!

Imagine a beautiful place somewhere around the world for a hand-picked group of like minded creatives to share a space for four days. A place to get away, and still stay productive so we don't miss a beat in our busy lives. We'll unwind and still get ahead.  We'll work together, have fun together, explore, shoot, and inspire each other. We usually end up bonding so closely as lifelong friends over a course of those four days, and each experience is unforgettable. We all bring something unique to the table, so this is not just a getaway, but an opportunity to advance ourselves as creatives as well. 

We'll work and enjoy ourselves till late in the evening and it will basically be a glorified work party! So come, learn, unwind, get ahead, and grow with us!

Why Austin?

Retouching Retreats are based in some of my favorite places. Austin is one of my favorite cities for many reasons, including the incredible hospitality and quirkiness of the city. It has some of the best food and coffee I've experienced anywhere. We plan on also bringing in the New Years together with a big party. I am looking forward to sharing one of my favorite cities with you along with some of my friends!

The Space

Here's a look at where we'll be staying. It's the coolest house, nestled right near downtown, walking distance from some of the best restaurants and bars.
* It’s a 3 story house.
* 4 full bathrooms and a T.V. in each room!

Heart of the House

Where we’ll be spending our time together, with a large table to work on together and a huge kitchen and cozy couches and a fireplace with a great entertainment system.

We have 4 rooms available + 1 Private pull out sleeper sofa + 1 massive couch with bedding for all as illustrated in the photos above.
There are 4 bathrooms in the entire space as well.
Each room has their own T.V. and cable television.
The price is for the entire 5 days for your room and the living space. (And of course our time together!)

Room 3 - King + Balcony + Cable TV - $1,550 (Sold)
Room 4 - Master Suite - King + Private desk + Master Bath + Cable TV - $1,750 (Sold)
Room 5 - Loft - Pull out sofa + Cable T.V. - $1,100 (Not a private room) | (Sold)
Spot 6 - Living room large cloud-like sofa - $900 | (Sold)

You may share any room with a person as well, but we must also know before hand. This would bring the cost to just around $150 to $175 a night!

That's not a lot, for quite a lot of fun!

* You will be responsible with transportation to and from the location as well as food costs. It is located near Downtown near 6th street (in a quiet place)
