Payment:
Payment can be made via bank transfer, check, Venmo, or Zelle.
Cancellation Policy:
Due to being hard to find a replacement, no cancellations one month prior to the retreat would be possible, after April 6th. But you may find an approved replacement to take your spot granted they fit our group dynamic. I will also help ask those who expressed interest and did not get a spot if they would like to claim the spot as well.
A full refund will be provided if the event itself is cancelled.
Covid:
From Friday, February 25, there are no longer any COVID-related border restrictions for travel to Iceland.
All visitors are welcome, regardless of vaccination status, with no requirement to pre-register before visiting. There is no longer a requirement for a PCR test to board aircraft, and no testing or quarantine upon arrival. There is no longer a requirement to present a certificate of vaccination or of prior COVID-19 infection.

Covid testing prior entering the U.S.
The U.S. requires a quick rapid test within 24 hours prior to entering the U.S. - Based on your flight time back home this can be done in a variety of ways.
Schedule a same day test
You can get it done in Akureyri, Keflavík (close to the international airport), and Reykjavík. A sample is taken on location, and you receive a digital certificate for proof of travel in an hour. Please allow for 2 hours, just in case. Register at https://covidtest.is/ to schedule an appointment ahead of time and for hours of operation.
If you’d like to get it done close to the airport, use https://www.testcovid.is/ instead.

From the airport, there are regular transportation services that take you into the city. It does not need to be arranged ahead of time.

You must have a sense of adventure.
Due to it being Iceland, things may change on the fly from our expected itinerary. We have backups prepared and with Cat, Dane, and our driver, we’ll have plenty of options.
Rooms
Due to the locations we are visiting and the limited rooms of the hotels, rooms will be shared with someone of your own sex that you will meet prior to the trip. I have been assured by each hotel that everyone DOES have their own beds. If you wish to have your own room I can provide you with the contact of each hotel directly if they have any more rooms and that will be a separate cost.
Itinerary:
Please see the other document for the in depth itinerary.
Packing:
According to the weather (link), we’re expecting a range between 43 F to 50 F.
1. Iceland often rains unexpectedly and gets quite windy! You definitely want to pack warm (beanies, gloves, hoodies, etc), and bring a rain jacket and pants. Umbrellas are useless as the wind will break them. Most of you are northerners so you know how to pack for this type of weather.
2. We may also find some hot springs and lagoons to potentially dip into if weather permits. Please bring a swimsuit just in case!
