NVIDIA's A.I. Can Re-Create A Photo With The Style Of Another
This photo below can explain this idea better than I can do in words.
Basically, FastPhotoStyle takes the photo, along with a style inspiration and re-creates an image in the style of another. It's so terrifyingly amazing that testers preferred the A.I. result over manual creations from humans.
"According to one of the inventors, Ming-Yu Liu, testers were twice as partial to the AI’s renderings than manual recreations by humans. The tool also works “60 times faster” than some of the industry’s favored frameworks."
It's quite incredible to look at, and I am curious what impact it would have in the world of video and stills. You can see that it took an infrared reference and applied it to a regular image and the results look great. Artificial Intelligence is looking pretty genuine to me.
