Mimi Choi is a Vancouver based makeup artist has skills and concepts that almost make us think it was created in Photoshop.

She already has built up a following of over 375,000 people on Instagram. Here's a sample of her work below. The concepts are both amazing as they are creepy!

She's a former school teacher and she's only been doing makeup for 3 years! Some of these take upwards 5 hours to complete.

Just a normal dog with human eyes, hair, body and 0 top teeth. 😛 Thought this was funny, not meant to be realistic. 🙃 Had to paint something on myself after a long week of working on others, even though it's 2AM and my body is telling me to lie my ass down and sleep. 🐶 #dothingsforyourself

HOLLOWED OUT 🔪 • A #CARVED FACE makeup illusion • So I didn't actually stop carving my face after 30 minutes last night... and this is what I ended up with after 1 hour. Took one of my followers @ensomz's advice and incorporated thicker skin pieces and bigger holes for a more realistic look! Also realized that shading the thickness really added to the effect. A lot of people ask me how I do these things. My answer is through lots of trials and errors, patience and persistence. I learn most from doing things wrong and always looking back to see what could be done better. There's no easy way around it -- no matter how much potential you have, you will not grow if you never push yourself out of your comfort zone. 🌟 ________________________ A carved makeup attempt using @nyxcosmetics @nyxcosmetics_canada matte black liquid eyeliner and @makeupforeverofficial @makeupforeverca foundation palette. The eye area was painted black and my eye was closed to give the hollow effect. All #makeup, no Photoshop.

It was challenging at the beginning because I had never painted Maxwell's eyes before, so I had to spend a good 15 minutes studying them and figuring out all the colors in his beautiful eyes. This is #makeup • When people ask me if I've heard of the #wavy trend 🤷🏻‍♀️〰🐍🐍〰 • Another #snake makeup illusion done using just a @makeupforeverofficial ink eyeliner, white kohl liner and matte eyeshadows. It's amazing what a little #highlighting and #contouring could do to trick the eye. After 3 years of experimenting with illusions, I'm still fascinated by the power of simple white and black paints and shadows. HOLE IN THE FACE optical illusion • Not a very successful illusion but I spent over an hour on it so I kinda need to post this. Used @suvabeauty Hydra cream base in "Dark Humor Matte" and @stilacosmetics matte black eyeshadow for shading. The talented @promisetamang also did a similar illusion earlier so check hers out!

My mama said that I should be whatever that makes me happy so tonight I'm a note pad. 📝🖍 • Used @kryolanofficial Aquacolors and @suvabeauty Hydra Liners for the note pad. The beauty side was done using @katvondbeauty Lock-it foundation and concealer for the skin. @makeupforeverofficial @makeupforeverca Pro Light Fusion Luminizer 1 for highlight, @kevynaucoin medium sculpting powder to contour and @narsissist "Orgasm" for blush. Eyes were done using @makeupforeverofficial 9 Artist Shadow Palette 4 and @stilacosmetics Stay-All-Day intense black eyeliner. @velourlashesofficial "Guilty! Lashaholic" for lashes. Brows are @makeupforeverofficial Aqua Brow 25. ______________ This was inspired by childhood notepads that I used to doodle zentangle art on when I was little. A very inspirational bodypainter Gretchen Fleener also did something similar on her arm before! ✨
