Motorcycles In Denmark: Dead Cat Motorcycles Club
There are moments in life where as you’re living them, you’ll know you’ll never forget the experience.
The beginning of June had already made its way over the horizon as I found myself in Denmark once again. Dennis Møller brought my dear Bella Kotak and myself into Copenhagen for a workshop he organized for us. The day before, he invited us in to show us around his motorcycle club. In honesty, I didn’t really know what to expect. Intrigue mixed with uncertainty but I was up for anything.
They went by Dead Cat Motorcycles. A group, like family, who came together from a similar interest in motorcycles and bonded over much more.
When I began to walk through the garage and seeing all of the character sprawling everywhere, I could really feel the passion of what they did without asking a single question. It was thick as the oil-scented air.
As the day started to end, we spent time outside drinking beer, enjoying some BBQ, and enjoying the setting sun. Dennis showed us a surprise. On top of the building adjacent to the garage, there was a rooftop farm! Check them out at ØsterGRO.
From the sounds of shaking tailpipes and the smell of all things that get your blood racing, the experience was great.
A special thank you to the club for making us feel welcome!
