Is It Better To Date Someone Who Is A Creative?

To be or not to be (with another creative), that is the question!

The answer? I don't know... but we're getting a better picture (hah) based on what these photographers chimed in below.

It's no secret that I have been dating a creative for a couple of years now, and Bella Kotak is that special lady of mine. She's a strong and outstanding conceptual and fantasy photographer in her fine-art realm with her fine-art self (smooth!). Myself, being a retoucher in the commercial and editorial world of fashion, beauty, and portraiture. Our dynamic is so wonderful and we compliment each other well in how we think, work together, apart, and the struggles we face and overcome together.

People have commented on how they wish they had a relationship like this and that got me thinking, is it really better to be with a creative or is it better to be with someone who really isn't a photographer or a creative in your own respective field? So I asked and the responses were very interesting. It seemed one sided at first but eventually, it was split. I found great reasons on both ends. It turns out that the grass may actually be greener (with a +20 saturation and vibrance) on the other side of the fence for some. For others, being with a creative did make the most sense.

Have a read at some of the answers below!

The responses make you realize that no matter if you're with a creative or not, the utmost important facet to a relationship really is trust, support, and understanding each other!
