INFRASCAPES: An Epic 8K Infrared Timelapse Video That Took Over 300 Hours To Make

INFRASCAPES: An Epic 8K Infrared Timelapse Video That Took Over 300 Hours To Make

I love nothing more than featuring people who are both talented and hard working. Showcasing a project they've put all their heart into that amounts to something incredibly beautiful! This one deserves all your attention.

Christian Möhrle is a landscape photographer out of Southern Germany and he got in touch to share his most recent project with us, this incredible 8K Infrared timelapse video! I've never seen anything like it. Accordingly, I wondered how long it took and what his process was.

Christian modified a DSLR camera, the 750D, to shoot in Infrared. Then, he casually shot over 20,000 photos over the course of 4 months and put it all together! In sum, it was over 300 hours of work to bring it to life The numbers are as epic as the footage you're about to see!

For the camera movement, he used the Syrp 3-axis motion system to add that extra depth.

Well done Christian, I hope you aim to make more in the future around the world.

You can follow his work through his YouTube page, Instagram, 500PX. Patreon, and Facebook.
