The Marketing Photos Of This Lens Is So Bad That It's Good!

The Marketing Photos Of This Lens Is So Bad That It's Good!

So I was browsing FB and for the last few weeks, and these ads for this product starting popping up. At first I dismissed them. Then they got more and more ridiculous. Who seriously buys into this? Maybe I'm totally wrong and they're actually amazing.

But look at that masking!

They get tons of comments and shares so apparently people are buying into it. For $60, it better be good.

After a while, it started becoming a running joke among my friends and I. Probably with you now as well!

The moon shot is definitely my favorite. Props to the hand model! Same pose in every shot. How does he do it? /badsarcasm

Keep scrolling to see what a moon shot actually looks like!

And of course, someone just had to put me in there. Thanks for that Joshua Gunder!

This post was inspired by Tobi Harriman, who is a bad influence.

Have any of you used this phone lens? If so, I'd like to see some actual photos. Maybe we're all wrong! ...maybe.

UPDATE!

It turns out my friend John Aldred actually had this lens. Here's a photo he attempted of the moon!

Talk about massively false advertising!
